The route to becoming fit is certainly not an easy one. Having said this, the effort you put across is definitely worth the results you will get. Al it requires is dedication, focus, and most importantly, a goal. Without a proper fitness goal, you will reach nowhere.

Speaking of my own fitness journey, despite having the zeal to have a fit body, my laziness didn’t let me pursue my passion. For me, life was all about enjoying every moment. There wasn’t a single day when I wouldn’t meet my friends, party with them, eat junk food. Thus, I became overweight and was on the verge of becoming obese.

It was then I realized my wrongdoings. A very close friend of mine helped me to understand this fact one can still party hard, live every moment with zeal and enthusiasm while pursuing their aim of having a fit body at the same time. I still wonder if I hadn’t taken that decision to focus on my fitness at the right time, what my condition would be now.

Apart from the obvious working hard in the gym and keeping my diet in check, these are some of the things that helped me to accomplish my mission of having a fit and lean body:

Music

Music has the power to change things and uplift mood. It played an integral part in my fitness journey. When I was not partying, I used to listen to soothing and calming music that is easy on ears and have a relaxing impact. However, when I was in the gym, my playlist consisted of heavy hard rock metal type of music. It pumped me up and somehow motivated. With faster beats, my performance become became better. I started enjoying my workout sessions even more with the help of music.

Company of My Best Friend

With friends, every place and activity becomes better and the gym is not an exception. I would highly recommend you to have your best friend as your work out buddy. Not only it will make exercise much more fun and thrilling for you but it will boost your performance as well. You will be able to perform different partner exercises that will bring your improved results. Furthermore, you can have a sort of competition among you. This will also help to bring the best in both of you.

My friend, Nick, and I did this and the results were amazing. Every day we used to challenge each other in the gym. This challenge consisted of a task that needed to be performed in a particular time period. The one who did it earlier than the other was deemed to be the winner for the day.
