As the festival of Easter is being celebrated across different countries around the world today, Srilanka is going through the sorrow of losing more than 200 people on this day.
According to the sources, 207 people have been killed till now in the church and hotels whereas approximately 450 people are injured.
Bomb explosion were carried out at three churches at Batticaloa, Negombo, and Kochchikade church in Colombo.
The popular five-star hotels Cinnamon Grand, Shingri-La, Kingsbury were also targeted in this terror attack
As the death toll is increasing, we are deeply saddened by this extremely inhumane and vicious nature of few people. This act of violence is truly horrific and has spread the air of sadness all over the country.
Several foreigners are anticipated to be killed in this attack. A woman of Indian Origin, Razeena (58), married to Abdul Khader Kukkady has lost her life in this terror attack. She was a native of Mangaluru and currently stayed at Dubai for her work purpose. She had went for a vacation a week ago at Srilanka to meet her brother and relatives in Colombo. Her husband Abdul took morning flight on Sunday to return to Dubai while she stayed at the Shingri-La hotel in the capital city. Soon after Abdul landed in Dubai, he heard the news of the blast and boarded a flight back to reach Colombo at the earliest.

Easter is no more a happy day. It was never expected that this day can bring sadness for the whole community. Its really difficult and a terrific situation for all the people. This dastardly action by the culprits should not go unpunished and the victims who lost their lives should never go in vain.
