Baghini (The Tigress in English) is a movie based on the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. It is a biopic directed by Nehal Dutt. Yet to be released on 03 May 2019, this movie has been in news ever since its announcement, most recently the tweet by the CM on her Twitter Handle.
She refused the fact of being linked with the movie and expressed her anger with the tweet. As per her tweet, these all things are rubbish. She and her team have nothing to do with the biopic. It is some people’s creation to have created a film with some research and stories found on my life. It is totally up to them to express it and we are not involved in this.
Her tweet reads as given below:
What is all this nonsense being spread! I have nothing at all to do with any biopic. If some young people have collected stories & expressed themselves, thatβs up to them. Not related to us. I am not Narendra Modi.

Please do not compel me to file for defamation by spreading lies
This movie showcases her journey from childhood to being the leader as the CM of West Bengal. Her work towards bringing constant improvements in the state has been displayed in this film. The movie looks promising as it gives a message of women empowerment and depicting the new aspects of our beloved CM.
As the release date is coming soon, this is something which the people are looking forward to.
